Why is that relevant to this thread when we're talking about the prats in the stands at Celtic Park? And for every Loyalist Paramilitary bashing you find, there will be equally stories to match from the Republicans if you're agenda driven like what you have just posted.

Every Celtic supporter I have come across has been a drunk, piss stained jeans, yellow teeth, absolute cunt of a human being and has an extreme hatred for the royal family and the United Kingdom.

Therefore my natural reaction is to completely hate Celtic football club and everything they stand for.

Re: Celtic Scum
A UVF mob launched a blood-spattered attack on two Protestant sisters and a Catholic friend. Because they claimed the girl was a ‘wee fenian’.

The savage assault on the Protestant and Catholic girls occurred in a Rangers Supporters Club in Belfast – and continued when a crazed lynch mob high on drink and hate tried to storm their home.

Now, after two of the victims – a Protestant and a Catholic – talked to the Sunday World, we name and shame the perpetrators of the depraved sectarian attack as Colin ‘Meerkat’ Fulton and sidekick Matthew McGrath.

The UVF is today unmasked as a sickening, sectarian, teen-bashing, women beating mob.Three young women, one a teenage Catholic, are lucky to be alive after police rescued them from a baying blood-thirsty loyalist mob high on drink, and drunk on sectarian hatred.

Dont know about your relatives but My Grandfathers (Irish) fought in the First and Second so people would have the right to CHOOSE how they lived their lives, not be pressured, socially or politically in to doing what other people want them to do.

You chest-thumpers demand that respect should be observed yet you, yourselves, show absolutely no respect in allowing people to do what their conscience dictates.

Also, I hope you people who go on about the respect also show it to those that served in your neighbourhood...Wearing a poppy is nothing but lip service, do any of you actually do anything to help the RBL or other charities for the Veterans, other than wear wrist bands and fake flowers?

I agree completely - actively disrespecting the rememberance is something else entirely and completely out of order.

No problem if they want to buy a poppy or not but singing through a mins silence ain't on... I was no George Best fan so when he died rather than do the mins silence etc I stayed an extra 2 mins in the boozer... these mick/Jocks should do the fucking same... ignorant biggoted turds

Re: Celtic Scum
If you read James McLean's letter to Dave Whelan it explains his reasons for not wearing the poppy. That probably explains the Celtic mindset - it's not about WW1/2 it's about the NI conflict. Whether anyone likes it or not there's two sides to that story.

And I care not one jot for Irish nationalism, but neither do I care for the loyalist cause. I abhor the sectarianism on both sides.

People should stop trying to get inside other people's heads. If they want to remember fine, if they don't for whatever reason it's also fine. It's a free country, that's what the sacrifice was for.

For the record I wear a poppy to remember family who served.

Re: Celtic Scum
Willy, the whole ethos of the club is engrained in Irish nationalism, so it's little wonder they do not show outward support.

It's not the club I care about though, it's the mugs in the stands that need sorting out. I'm not bothered one bit that they revere the IRA and sing about them, I'm not bothered by words at all, but what I am bothered about is that they cannot show any respect to war dead that had nothing to do with the Ulster conflict.

One club I would love to go under and fail to exist. I hate them more then Chelsea, Millwall and Spurs combined.

Re: Celtic Scum
Celtic might not wear poppies, but they still support the cause. Whilst they have a few idiots - very much in the minority, they are trying to educate the next generation.

Every year they donate £10,000 to Poppyscotland and in particular to the school based programme "Sowing the Poppy Seed", an education project which aims to deliver an education programme for 3-18 year olds which explores the themes of the poppy, remembrance and veterans. Players and ex-players are also involved in the project.

Unfortunately the scum had a happy end to the match scoring the winning goal in the last minute despite having their filthy bastard captain sent off just before for persistent foul play. Scott Brown is without a doubt one of the dirtiest players in the country, booed at every ground he goes to,but revered of course by his Glasgow admirers.( half of Glasgow to be more accurate)

Exactly. But they don't see the point as they are too blinkered by their anger instilled in them by their elders. Bascially they are like sheep.

But if they stepped back and looked at it logically they would see the issue. Too thick though.

Bit like Fat Frank slagging off West Ham forgetting it was his dad and uncle in charge when he was there. Obviously slighty more trivial but you get the idea.
